Country Director, Rossana Viteri
Rossana Viteri, directora de país en Ecuador.
Rossana received her MA in Sociology from Portland State University in 1995. Since then she has held a variety of roles in teaching and counselling, in addition to providing technical advice on gender. She joined Plan in Ecuador as a consultant in 1996, evaluating the child-centredness of programmes and women’s participation in projects.
From 2006 onwards she was country director with Plan in El Salvador, and became country director in Ecuador early in 2011.
Veronica Zambrano, national Programme Manager
Master's in Education and Cognitive Development at the Universidad Diego Portales in Santiago, Chile. She is an expert in design, implementation and monitoring of social projects in developing training programs and educational tools, and social mobilization and concentration to achieve social development goals and the impact on Public Policy.
She has worked on projects for training and participation with marginalised populations with children and youth in the country, processes of community organisation and participation in the Draft Community Defenders of Children and Families and, in proposals for the Eradication of Child Labour.
Mediation is an expert in teaching and development of thinking in the classroom and visiting professor at the Technical University of Loja Andean. Since early July is National Manager of International Programs Plan Ecuador.
Ramiro Alvear, National Manager of Strategic Alliances
Graduated in Business Administration with a specialization in 'Management of Social Development', at INCAE.
In Ecuador, has served as director and coordinator of programs focused on childhood development, several United Nations agencies like UNICEF and International Cooperation, FAO, CARE International, Children International, World Vision, among others.
He has consulted in planning and evaluation of social development programs: Hospital Metropolitano, World Food Programme (WFP), Norwegian Mission Alliance, World Vision Ecuador, Plan International and youth. Today, as a Plan youth volunteer, she is a passionate advocate of children’s rights, and wants to be a journalist and activist, writing about social issues.
Ana Luisa Rivadaneira, Head of Relationship Management
Ana Luisa, who hails from Manabí, is a commercial engineer by background. She has been with Plan for all 13 years of her professional career.
After 4 years in a variety of roles in Manabí, she moved to Quito, where she spent 3 years as the Assistant to the Director.
She then moved to Sponsorship as National Coordinator, and for the last 21/2 years has been in charge of Relationship Management.
Celia García, Finance Manager
From Santa Ana in Manabí province, Celia graduated as a comercial engineer from the Universidad Técnica of Manabí and obtained her masters in Finance through studies with Alicante University, Carlos III University (Madrid) and the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
Before she joined Plan she worked in accounting for 3 private companies in Portoviejo. She joined Plan in 1996 as an assistant accountant in the Manabí office.
Since then she has worked in various roles in administration and finance in Plan’s offices around Ecuador.
