Plan Togo's Country Director, Fritz Foster

Fritz Foster brings his seasoned leadership to Plan Togo. For more than 30 years, Fritz has held a variety of leadership positions with Plan - including regional director, country director, field director and finance consultant. He has lead teams during times of crisis and sustained development.

His previous assignments with Plan have taken him to Burkina Faso, Guinea, Haiti, Ecuador and the Dominican Republic prior to Togo. At each assignment, Fritz strives to use his skills, experience, and common sense to enable his team to have a positive and empowering impact on children and their communities.

He is passionate about Plan’s work to improve children’s ability to access quality education, especially for girls.

Fritz has a degree in finance from Indiana University, and has continued learning through his career at workshops and seminars in leadership and management for development agencies. At the outset of his career he served in the Peace Corps in the Dominican Republic. He is fluent in Spanish and French.
