Plan Sudan
Plan has been operating in Sudan since 1977, helping marginalised children to access their rights to health, education, water and sanitation, and protection.
Today we work with about 500,000 children across the country - including Kassala, White Nile, North Kordofan states, Darfur as well as Red Sea state.
Plan Sudan works with children, their families and communities to identify major problems and implement solutions.
Case study
As we celebrate the International Women's day today, 8 March 2012, a young girl in Edduweim Sudan, demonstrates that increasingly, young rural girls are taking on leadership as well empowering their communities.
