This booklet was designed for adults and children working together in partnership to organise a special event. It is one of the results of the work done by a team from Plan Togo, in Atakpamé, to prepare a special Girls’ Week, with the particular aim of promoting girls’ rights and education.

This special week was organised with and for the children of the East Mono Region of Togo, but particularly the members of the Girls First Clubs in that area. At present, Girls First clubs exist in 6 villages in the East Mono Region of Togo, but will soon exist in 20 villages. Their aim is to help girls reach their full potential by developing their life skills, particularly decision-making.
