Child rights in Togo
This publication outlines the promotion of child rights within the context of a water and sanitation project in a child-centered community development environment.
Analyses have been made according to the mid way results, follow up reports and a mission undertaken to collect first person accounts.
With regards to child survival, a total of 20,463 children from 37 primary schools were able to benefit from the activities promoting hygiene through hand washing (before eating, after defecating, and before serving food to others) and from the newly installed water and sanitation infrastructures.
