Girls say YES! to economic independence
Young business owners Modester, Rebecca, Eliza and Cosmas now train and employ young people to support other's journeys to financial independence.
Since 1994 Plan International Malawi has been working together with children, young people, supporters and partners to strive for a just world, tackling the root causes of the challenges girls and vulnerable children face.
We believe in the power and potential of every child but know this is often suppressed by poverty, violence, exclusion and discrimination. And it is girls who are most affected.
We achieve long-term change through our work with communities and drive changes in practice and policy at local, national and global levels using our reach, experience and knowledge.
We are currently in the second year of a 5-year strategy that aims to impact the lives of 3.2 million girls in 27 out of the 28 districts in Malawi.
We won’t stop until we are all equal.
Our main priorities are:
Airtel Complex, Plot No. 40/33
City Centre, Behind Bisnowaty Filling Station
P.O. Box 2053, Lilongwe Malawi Office
