A radio station in Ghana has added a child rights show to their schedule after being inspired by Plan’s media clubs.

Thanks to Plan’s scholarship, Christiana could finish her education. Now working in the bank she helps others and fights for children’s rights.

In Likpe Abrani, a small farming community of about 2,000 people in Volta, Plan Ghana implements its Village Savings and Loans projects to give individuals access to capital so parents can provide healthcare and education to their children, invest in their business or simply save for the future.

Plan Ghana and partners have brought over 1000 new, more efficient stoves to 8 communities, allowing children to get back to school and women to earn money.

After training from Plan, the Kupulima community in northwest Ghana has built kitchens, provided plates and cups, supplied fresh food and started a garden to get their children back to school.
