Prem Shukla, Plan Ghana's Country Director
Country Director, Prem Shukla
Prem Shukla began serving as country director in Ghana in 2011. He has nearly 40 years of diverse, multi-cultural experience, nearly 25 years with Plan, managing child-centered development programmes in Africa, Asia and South America.
With a Masters in Science from Kanpur University, India, and many qualifications in research and management projects, he brings an effective and innovative leadership style to Plan Ghana. Prior to joining Plan, he held positions in development programme management at CARE in India and Sudan.
Prem is committed to Plan’s vision and is leading the way towards creating an environment for Ghanaian children to develop as citizens and to contribute effectively towards the development of their civil society.
Along with being fluent in both English and French, Prem also has knowledge of Spanish, Portuguese, Nepalese and several Indian languages.
