Learning Without Fear through football

This football project is one innovative approach to tackle the problem of violence in school. The three year project is supported by Plan Germany and will establish a girl’s football league with 15 high schools in Jakarta; build the football skills of players and coaches; raise awareness about violence in school among students, parents and teachers; and provide life skills to team players. Moreover, several students who wanted to be athletes further mentioned that through football the girls could be more confident in taking part in opposing bullying and violence at school.
