Philippines - Toward a child-friendly education environment

Philippines Toward a child-friendly education environmentPlan Philippines has published its complete report on violence in schools which analyses survey data from over 2,400 children.

Headline conclusions include that 6 out of 10 children in high school have experienced some kind of violence in school, that verbal abuse is the most prevalent form of violence experienced by children at all school levels and that children’s peers, more than the adults, are the perpetrators of violence in schools.
