Aid reaches Haiti's children

20 January 2010: See emergency aid funded by Plan donors reaching children affected by the earthquake in Haiti.

Plan has worked in Haiti since 1973 and was able to respond immediately. Our teams provided 1,500 families with food every day in the first weeks after the disaster and a shipment of vital Plan aid - including 4,000 tents and more than 300 family survival kits - was one of the first agency deliveries to reach Jacmel in southern Haiti, where 60% of buildings were damaged or destroyed.
