19 February 2010: Plan is working with children in Haiti to help them overcome the emotional distress caused by the earthquake.

A recent assessment in Croix-des-Bouquets revealed that children were waking up 4 to 6 times a night because of horrendous nightmares.

Trained Plan staff and volunteers are running psychosocial support sessions - in essence, emotional first aid - for children. View pictures below of our games and play activities, which provide children with a break from the reality on the streets.
